Scientific instruments
C+D Automatika Ltd. helped the procurement of the scientific instruments used during the expeditions. The IT equipment was supplied by the Földgömb Foundation for Expeditional Research. Power supply equipment was provided by Bolu Gép Ltd., the distributor of Brunton and Honda generators. Other equipment and instruments were provided by the following research institutions: Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) Department of Physical Geography, ELTE Department of Environmental and Landscape Geography, ELTE Department of Physical and Applied Geology, ELTE Department of Microbiology, Hungarian Academy of Sciences Geographical Institute.

Our most important scientific instruments: 1. HOBO U23 Pro relative moisture content and temperature logger, 2. HOBO Pro v2 temperature logger – U22-001, 3. HOBO Optical USB base station BASE-U-4, 4. Trimble Juno SB high precision GPS, 5. Testo 925 one channel high precision thermometer, 6. Eijkelkamp sample holding tube, 7. Detroit high precision digital pocket scale, 8. Eutech PCTestr 35 electrical conductivity meter (for measuring salinity), pH meter, water thermometer.
High altitude gear
Equipment used above 5800 m a.s.l. was supplied by the Hungarian distributors of The North Face, Fjällräven and Petzl.

Other outdoor gear
Outdoor equipment and clothing used on lower altitudes was supplied by the Hungarian distributors of The North Face, Fjällräven, Vaude and Petzl.

Camping equipment
Equipment used in and around camp was supplied by the Hungarian distributors of Vaude, Petzl, Brunton, Primus and by Bolu Gép Ltd., the distributor of Honda generators.

Communication
We are using Iridium satellite phone and PMR for communication.
